First lady Michelle Obama debuted a new motto as she hit DNC fundraisers in New York on Wednesday.
"We need you to keep on writing those checks, and if you haven’t maxed out, you know, what’s my motto? Max out," she told attendees at the DNC’s LGBT Gala on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. "Let’s say it together: Max out. And if you’ve maxed out, get your friends to max out. It’s a very — maxing out.
"Sounds kind of baller, too — maxing out. Everyone here should be maxed out. "
For those of you who aren’t hip [or who, like me, think 'being hip' has something to do with a hip replacement], the term is defined thusly at the Urban Dictionary:
A thug that has "made it" to the big time. Originally [referred to] ball players that made it out of the streets to make millions as a pro ball player, but now is used to describe any thug that is living large.
And there’s no doubt Lady ‘The Beard’ Michbeth and Julius Obamacus Nero Caesar are ‘livin’ large’.
A perfect example is this trip of her’s to Boston and New York, where she spent a short amount of time visiting with victims of the Boston Marathon Bombing then attended two fundraisers. I suspect that, since she made the hospital visit, she will be able to charge the whole trip to we taxpayers. Of course.
There was a time, you know, when those who occupied The White House respected the place and their position as temporary occupants and they acted accordingly. Then came The Carters, followed a number of years later by The Clintons, and now the nadir of classlessness: The Obamas.
I suppose we shouldn’t blame Barry and Mich too much because they are simply the most visible examples of the descent of American Society into a ghettoized gangsta culture.
Now, get off my lawn and put on a shirt and tie — have some respect for yourself and those around you.
